ICSC infrared cameras
Mobile IR assistance systems for use in vehicles
Cutting-edge, state-of-the-art infrared technology designed to provide security experts and firms and agencies and public authorities with valuable support when protecting persons, objects, installations or valuable commodities.
The infrared cameras in the ICSC-Series have been developed especially for use in moving vehicles and excel with numerous practical benefits.
In stark contrast to conventional fixed IR assistance systems, ICSC camera systems are extremely mobile and versatile – they can easily be installed and just as easily dismantled making them ideal for use in changing vehicles.
That’s why ICSC thermal imaging cameras are especially well-suited for use in car fleets in private security companies, agencies, public authorities and site security departments or divisions.
Instead of having to equip each individual vehicle with an independent and therefore costly infrared surveillance system, private security companies, agencies, public authorities and site security departments can now target their activity and install the ICSC systems in the vehicles in which they are needed and then dismantle them so that they can be used in another vehicle when the assignment has been completed or terminated.
Infrared thermal imaging cameras are also ideal assistants for courier services and carriers as they dramatically reduce the risks incurred when driving in the dark or at night.
- Benefits in practice:
- Maintenance-free infrared thermal imaging cameras for mobile surveillance from vehicles
- Detailed surveillance images even in pitch dark and light fog – no residual light needed
- High detector resolution of 384 x 288 pixels for crisp and clear thermal images
- Detection of vehicles and persons from 800 and 300 metres respectively
- Large, crystal-clear 7-inch LCD monitor
- Maximum possible wide-range view due to remote-controlled pan-tilt feature with joystick control unit (only ICSC 30)
- Robust IP65 / IP69K-rated construction for optimal surveillance results in all kinds of weather
- Built-in heating elements (only ICSC 20)
- Quick and easy installation and dismantling – economic solution for use in changing surveillance vehicles
ICSC systems are not residual light amplifiers. They are fully-fledged infrared cameras that are able to provide clear and conclusive thermal images in absolute darkness and even light fog – no residual light is needed.
The radiometric detector has over 110,000 individual measuring spots which ensure detailed and true depiction and early detection of potential risks.
In contrast to conventional headlamps whose range is typically 100 m or less, ICSC camera systems can detect vehicles over a distance of 800 metres and persons and larger animals over a distance of 300 metres. This is an incalculable advantage in wooded terrain or difficult environments.
