ICFA fire service camera excellently equipped for indoor and outdoor operations

Because it weighs only 1,200 grammes, this compact and featherweight firefighting camera can be held in only one hand and used comfortably over longer periods when standing on ladders, crawling on all fours or when doing overhead work.

The special symmetric design and the balanced weight mean that the ICFA infrared camera can be used with both hands there-by enabling the user to decide freely which hand to use in which situation, while the camera strap ensures that the user always has a good grip and hold on the camera.

Furthermore, the camera is equipped with extremely shock resistant rubber absorbers which not only protect it against knocks and bumps and rough handling, but even allow it to survive a fall from 1.80 m.

The camera’s sophisticated electronic detector and image processing components are all safely shielded in a protective housing in compliance with the UL94-V0 IP67 classification fire safety standards which guarantees that the camera will even work reliably after being immersed in 1 m deep water for 30 minutes and that it is still able to deliver conclusive image results when used in environments with extreme temperature differences.

ICFA fire brigade camera

The ICFA is a specially designed, quality-certified infrared firefighting camera that has been developed especially to endure the tough and demanding conditions that firefighters encounter when fighting fires. It is ready to go in less than 15 seconds and can be used in nonstop operation for more than two hours.

Equipped with a high-resolution, uncooled UFPA detector, the camera has an impres-sively high image repetition frequency and a wide, dynamic measuring range.

The fully radiometric function ensures that nobody is left in the dark – even in smoke-filled or pitch-black rooms – and acts as an invaluable aid for detecting missing persons or heat sources.

The water and dustproof camera comes equipped with a large-sized TFT LCD monitor with quick select function for operation-specific colour palettes.

The control elements of the camera are clearly arranged and restricted to only the most essential functions in order to facilitate easy handling with heavy protective gloves and to prevent accidental or wrong use.

The camera can also be mounted on to the handgrip which is included in the scope of accessories, if required.
