XRS M12 trolley for 8612 sub-soil probe

Trolley

The XRS M12 trolley is an optional accessory for the XRS 8612 sub-soil probe. A simple hand movement is all that is required to fix it to the probe. The trolley makes it easy to search for leaks over longer stretches or over large areas. A 25 x 45 cm rubber mat on the bottom of the device prevents the hydrogen gas from evaporating. The gas that collects under the mat is sucked up through a hole in the middle and fed to the XRS 8612 sub-soil probe’s gas sensor.

The benefits of
the XRS M12 trolley:

Greater responsiveness

Air and hydrogen - if present – are sucked from a larger area as the mat is approx. fifty times larger than the tip of the sub-soil probe.

Greater accuracy

The XRS M12 trolley retains contact with the surface as it travels along. The signalling point is therefore determined quickly and accurately. This process also makes it possible to locate several leaks which might lie just 0.1 m or up to 1 m apart, depending on their depth.

Quick and easy

Rather than using just one 8612 sub-soil probe, the combi-kit with the XRS M12 trolley offers a more responsive and more constant detecting process. Analyses can be carried out faster over long distances and wide areas far.
