Trotec Innovations

Innovative from the start – and always of the highest standard:

Despite a hefty amount of resistance from a large number of competitors, Trotec was the only system provider for restorative drying solutions to publicize use of the underpressure method – and that since the mid-nineties - and the first manufacturer to use vacupress technology:

Vacupress

Over or underpressure that could be used flexibly with just one appliance by merely switching to the vacupress function that did not, however, lead to a subsequent loss in performance when the direction of the air flow was changed.

A steady stream of innovations…

water separator Trotec will be presenting yet further innovations built around the vacupress units in the coming year:

The WA 303 is currently the only water separator on the market developed from the ground up to suit this purpose. And here comes another first-off to boot:

Disposable microfilters Disposable microfilters from Trotec are the first microfilters for use in restorative drying that are available on the market; they compliment the first filter chain for restorative drying to be available on the market.

Product premieres at the beginning of a new millenium…

Since 2001: all Trotec compressors are standard equipped with permanent connections for flexible over- and underpressure drying.

TTSL2002: the next world premiere: TTSL – the first mobile remote monitoring system for use, amongst other things, in the field of restorative drying.

Silencer

A little later: all Trotec compressors are standard equipped with a TTSL interface for the remote control of appliance installations and documentation of the drying process.

Mikro HEPA filters

2003: Trotec is also the first provider to present the redesigned VE silencer.

The new Trotec HEPA filter hits the market the same year – the first of its kind and designed especially for underpressure drying.

As well as the new F7 microfilters with replaceable filter elements.

Soon after that the TTSL VE with PRC; the first remote monitoring system designed especially for drying technology which can be used to switch the complete installation on and off from anywhere in the world via “remote control”.

In 2007 Trotec designs the innovative Optiflow display and introduces it as a standard free feature for all its insulation drying units along with the manipulation-proof dual counter to log energy consumption and operational hours.

In 2008 came the next innovative milestone:

MultiQube, the first and only complete restorative drying system “made from one mould” on the market is a perfectly matched unit program comprising compressor, water separator, HEPA filter and sound absorber for each and every demand in the field of restorative drying.

Tower of power but without power current –The VE 6 powerhouse was completely overhauled in the following year. This marked the end of 400V technology for Trotec restorative drying systems. Since then all Trotec product solutions in and around the field of restorative drying no longer require an on-site three-phase alternating current supply.

A firework of innovations at the turn of the year 2010 / 2011…

Further improved filter technology and potentiated air flow geometry increase the compressor’s efficiency and make the whole MultiQube System together with a number of unique innovations even more effective– for example with the flexible WA4i integrated water separator, the new HEPA HC filter with HepaControl or the revolutionary DA 3 flow rate control unit with Efidry automatic control system for maximum reductions in drying times.

These are only a few examples of the numerous innovations that Trotec has developed and brought onto the market for your benefit.

“First they grouse and grumble, then they turn round and copy us“…
The reaction we got from our competitors when we introduced our innovative designs and new developments was always the same: they all tried to play down the importance of our innovations and there was much baying:
“Nobody needs them, useless, rubbish”.

And the following development was nearly always the same:
Replicas of our products furnished with the exact wording that was used in Trotec’s original sales arguments popped up on the market.

Put your trust in high-quality products from the innovation leader –
go for the original:

All the insulation drying units designed by Trotec from the day the firm was founded up to the present day are high-quality, long-life products that have, without exception, been developed and produced in Germany.

The impressive consequence: 90 % of all the Trotec compressors that were ever built are still in operation – the success story goes on… and on… and on…

But not only first-generation compressors developed into better, compacter, robuster and more powerful units, which were continuously improved and furnished with innovative performance-enhancing features from our own team of developers.

Water separators, filter systems, silencers and further accessories designed for the field of restoration were developed further for use in practical situations using experience gained in such situations.
