The advantages of the flexible Trotec module philosophy
Is there just one item of clothing for all weathers and all seasons? Is there just one vehicle for every transportation task? Certainly not. Just as there cannot be only one single unit for all drying applications…
The central idea of our module philosophy is that you determine for yourself which equipment you need, according to the specific task in hand, and that for all combinations the respective optimum total system is at your disposal.
This requirement cannot be realised with combination devices in which several components are already unalterably and fixedly installed. In addition to this, equipment with complete fixed components is as a rule larger, heavier and more cumbersome and, beyond that, all elements are constantly in use, even when they are not required.
Dryer in the compressor housing?
HEPA-filter in the water separator?
Such solutions increase not only the purchase price, but also the maintenance and cleaning costs.
With the modular system you are optimally equipped for every task…
With the Trotec modular solution you can instead purposefully combine exclusively those components which you really need for the respective drying application. If you just need a compressor, then use just a compressor.
Inhabited environment?
No problem – install a silencer.
Vacuum drying?
Combine an additional water separator
and micro-filter.
Sensitive hygienic area,
danger of contamination?
Supplement the system with a HEPA-filter.
The advantage is that all modules are perfectly matched to each other and at the same time can be used in any combination or individually.
In this way, the system combines high economy and simple handling with the greatest possible flexibility!
The following two installation examples are exemplary for the advantages of a modular system:
In the construction on the left, a filter chain was installed without a hepa-filter. This construction is typical for 90 % of all applications. Due to the modular construction, only a few actions are necessary to realise a corresponding structure with a hepa-filter stage, as the illustration on the right shows.
Advantage: All individual modules in the Trotec filter chain are exactly calculated in accordance with the demands of insulation drying with regard to performance level, relative filter area, flow resistance and suction power, and are perfectly matched to one another!
