Ultra-quiet design
Unlike most conventional air purifiers, in which the fan motor is located directly behind the filter chain as the last component, IQAir systems house the powerful radial fan in the centre of the appliance, between its powerful filter inserts. This leads to a significant reduction in noise emissions. In addition, eight shock absorbers hold the fan and ensure that vibrations are not transmitted to the housing. Besides that, all IQAir systems have a double-walled housing construction to minimise noise transmission.
That’s why IQAir systems produce cleaner air with significantly less noise than conventional air filtration appliances, can be used in most noise-sensitive environments without problems and are practically inaudible at the lowest fan speed.
Simple control
A microchip-controlled filter monitor calculates the exact time when a filter replacement is necessary. The intelligent filter service life monitor takes into account both the actual duration of use and the prevailing degree of contamination of the air when calculating.
The central operating panel enables fast access to all options of the multi-function menu. Filter replacement displays automatically indicate when replacement of the respective filter module is necessary. Thanks to the integrated timer switch, the system can be switched on and off automatically at individually settable times on desired days of the week.
Each IQAir system comes with an IR remote control, with which the appliance can be switched on and off and various functions can be controlled remotely.
Six adjustable fan speeds
Many air purifiers only have two or three fan speeds. IQAir systems allow you to select the ideal relationship between air volume and noise level for your individual application by means of six different power levels.

Fast, reliable filter replacement
IQAir systems are comprised of an ingeniously designed, modularly-constructed stand model that allows filters to be exchanged simply in a matter of seconds. The patented system enables fast, reliable access to all filter elements in both wall-mounted and mobile systems. No tools are required for this.
High performance radial fan
The radial fans in the IQAir systems are driven by a powerful high quality motor designed for continuous operation, with an impressive free flow rate of 1200 cubic metres of air per hour. Each fan motor has heavy duty steel ball bearings and is individually balanced.
Perfect filter technology
Powerful pre-filtration
Whereas pre-filters with a retention capacity of sometimes less than 5 % are used in many conventional air purifiers, the IQAir systems already remove 90 % of all particles in the pre-filter. The subsequent filters are more effective as a result and thus attain long service lives.
Modular filter system
The IQAir filter systems are comprised of individually replaceable filter elements. Only the spent individual filter needs to be replaced, not complete filter blocks, such as are often installed in other air purifiers.
Large volume filters
In order to minimise manufacturing costs, many cleaning appliances are fitted with very little filter medium. IQAir use commercial filter sizes that are designed for long service lives, can absorb greater amounts of hazardous substances and last longer.
Genuine cleanroom filtration performance
IQAir systems achieve very high filter efficiency even for the smallest hazardous particles. Handheld particle measurement instruments used for checking cleanrooms detect practically no particles in the pure air stream from IQAir systems.
Internal triple sealing
The data for the performance of many types of filters is often only theoretical, since design-related performance losses of the cleaning appliances in which the filters are installed are often a reality.
IQAir use a patented triple sealing technique, which first of all ensures 100 % sealing of the filter medium in the filter frame, secondly perfect sealing between the individual filter unit and the appliance housing, and thirdly an airtight system housing due to seals on every housing module. As a result of this, IQAir purifiers have a measurably higher system performance than many conventional appliances.

The special air outlet of the IQAir system is designed such that air vortices are avoided at the outlet and the purified air is exhausted to the entire room without turbulence.
Economical system
Although IQAir systems are very powerful, they consume little energy. This outstanding energy efficiency is achieved by the use of high quality components and the perfectly coordinated control of all system parts.
Sturdy construction
Conventional air purifiers made of sheet metal can quickly get dented and inexpensive plastic constructions break easily.
IQAir systems are made from odourless, impact-proof and UV-stabilised ABS plastic and have a 3 mm thick, extremely impact-resistant but light injection-moulded housing for high mobility.
