The German consumer watchdog magazine “Stiftung Warentest“ awarded the HealthPro 250 the overall mark “Good” for being the most effective air purifier for allergy sufferers while emphasizing that of the ten models that were tested only one, the Health Pro 250, could be awarded the highest mark “Very good” for particle reduction.
No further independent tests have been carried out in Germany since the German consumer watchdog magazine Stiftung Warentest published their test results in 1998.
Most of the air purifier tests are carried out in the USA. Some of these tests are carried out by consumer organisations (e.g. Consumer Guide, Consumer Digest, ConsumerSearch) and consumer magazines (e.g. Wired Magazine und Reviewboard Magazine). Other publications like Newsweek und Cigar Aficionado have also carried out extensive testing on IQAir air purifiers and judged the models.
